Core Beliefs

Our beliefs are based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All teaching and ministry is rooted in, and flows out of, these biblical doctrines.

  • Scripture is the inspired Word of God. It is historically accurate and is the standard for all life.

  • Mankind was created to walk in perfect union with God. Tempted by Satan, man rebelled against God causing corruption to mankind and this natural world.

  • Salvation is by grace, through repentance and faith, when we accept Jesus' work on the cross. It is the beginning and continuing power of a spirit-filled life of separation from the World and holiness to God. By the grace of God, through his Son and the power of the Holy Spirit, we experience true freedom.

  • As the body of Christ on the Earth today, the Church is the hope of the world.

  • A day of judgment is a reality. Jesus Christ will determine the ultimate status of entrance to Heaven or Hell. On the day of final judgement, Satan, and those allied to him, will be stripped of all power and sentenced to an eternity in Hell.

  • There is only One True God who revealed Himself in three persons as Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. God is the Creator and Sustainer of all life.

  • Born of a virgin, Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He lived a completely sinless life and died on a cross to bring humanity back into right relationship with God the Father. He was resurrected from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is now seated next to the Father until His return.

  • Water Baptism is the initial step of obedience as we live a new life in Jesus Christ. Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a subsequent reality to be experienced by all believers, by which we can operate in the Gifts of the Spirit.

  • Christ left us with a great promise; He would return again. When this happens we will be with Him forever and be changed to be like Him.

  • After the millennial reign of Christ, this earth will pass away. God will then create a new Heaven and new Earth as he makes his dwelling place with believers for eternity!
