Landscaping and Beautification Team

Spring has almost sprung and therefore we are forming our landscape and beautification teams!

These teams’ main objectives are to keep our grass areas growing and trimmed, our weeds evicted, and our flowers planted and maintained.

These two are vital because they ensure a welcomg and positive first impressions of who God is and who we are. Disney does not leave to chance the first impressions people experience. Few would argue with the fact that the excitement and expectations grow as soon as you enter Disney Land because of the care that has been given to the grounds and the buildings.  In the same way, peoples first impression of God and Christians are directly connected to how well the building and grounds of a church are cared for and we dare not leave that to chance. 

Beautification Team:

This team is commissioned with the task of planting and caring for all the flowers and small shrubs in our planters.

Landscaping Team:

This team is commissioned with the task of maintaining our grass field and play areas as well as regular weed spraying and removal.

Time Commitment:

1 to 3 hours a week (Spring and summer months) hours for 6-months. (depending on area of oversight)

Experience or abilities needed:

If you love trimming grass, trees and bushes, planting and caring for flowers with others then you are halfway there! A basic understanding of gardening tools, powered and non-powered trimming tools as well as powered lawn mowers will complete what is needed.
